The West Space Journal (WSJ) is an online platform for criticism and commissions. Contributors are artists, writers, designers and musicians who have a particular interest in the critical dialogue surrounding contemporary art and its application online.
WSJ believe there is a place (and a necessity) for a dynamic publication that will exploit its online nature and commission media-rich content by local and international artists. The WSJ generates critical commentary and discussion regarding independent contemporary art projects and practice, focuses on short and long feature articles, interviews and artist “pages”, and experiments with the creation of interactive articles with non-linear/experimental navigation.
